Be a Kid at the Beach
What did you do as a child that made the hours pass by like minutes?
"We don't stop playing because we grow old. We grow old because we stop playing." -George Bernard Shaw
There is nothing that'll bring a smile to your face like watching children play on the beach. Arms wide open, energy sky high, jumping in the wind reaching towards absolutely nothing....
Or just waiting for that next big wave to jump again and again.
Don't you wish you could be a kid again? Here are some ideas to embrace your inner child. Enjoy!
Schedule a play day where you can do all the things you loved as a child
If it starts raining, go outside and play in the puddles
Before going on a bike ride, decorate it with fun tassels or lights.
Eat a sandwich layered with potato chips or, even better, a huge ice cream cone
Sit and watch a sunset while letting your daydreams completely take over
Thank you, Dorothy & Gray, for letting me borrow your precious Dottie for this post. She is always a complete delight and I love watching her play....can I have a playdate with her? :)
